Having experiences in speech therapy in the preschool and geriatric field, Karen wishes to make a difference in the life of every client she helps, by improving their speech, language, and communication skills.
Karen is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who is passionate about helping children speak clearly and correctly so that others understand them.
Karen also likes to work closely with senior adults to understand their speech impediments and form treatment plans that address complications due to their condition. She believes that Speech Therapy plays a key role in addressing communication and swallowing challenges faced by seniors. This can be vital for their overall health and ability to communicate, which leads to a better quality of life, as they can effectively express their needs and participate in social interactions.

Clara Cheng
The Education University of Hong Kong
Clara is a qualified Speech and Language Therapist, fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. She received her master’s degree from Education University of Hong Kong. Before returning to Hong Kong via the high achievers scheme in University of Hong Kong, Clara received education from the U.K.
Clara focuses on individuals with special educational needs between the age of 2-18. Clara has extensive experiences working with families with multilingual backgrounds and diverse cultural backgrounds. She is committed to stay up-to-date with her professional development, and continues to attend various professional training. Clinically, Clara believes in the importance of multidisciplinary approach and intrinsic motivation. By sharing her clinical observations with caregivers and making the session fun, we can optimize the child’s learning opportunities.
Beyond clinical work, Clara is also currently involved with different research projects and tertiary teaching. She works in collaboration with tertiary teams in the U.S, Taiwan and mainland China to develop treatment and assessment protocols for children and adults with communication needs. Through tertiary teaching, she shares her knowledge and experiences. She is devoted to supporting individuals with neurodiversity and other neurological diseases in the community.
